Happy Turkey Day!!

Did I tell you I am a vegetarian?  Well, here in Texas its easier to come out of the closet than to not eat meat.... no turkey for me thanks. 

Here are a few pictures of my hair, taking only a few mins.  I altered the iron by removing the clip, instead of buying one of the new ones that come that way.

Happy Fall

Its been away since my last post, not sure if anyone reads this kind of stuff.  It is still hot here in Texas, it wont start to really get cool until Christmas (thats why our bugs here are HUGE).  I started making these recycled paper bows for Christmas, kind of a "go green" year.  I love to make simple but very "wow" type items.  I really enjoy making cards, it lets me use all of the different supplies and lots of styles.  I wish someday to make something marketable, but if not I am happy with just sharing with friends and family. Thats it for now.

I love to watch the ladies on youtube, crafting and cooking and just being creative, I think it helps the soul.  I am here in Texas but I love to go on ustream and craft with ladies all around the US. Heidi is in New York and sells Stamp it Up, so she has a ustream channel were she can show cool tricks and just have time to craft and chat.  I put her youtube video below, check her out.

Hot summer!

Its almost time for school to start, its hot and dry here in Austin Tx.  The snakes start to come around alot this time ayear.... that and the heat keep us inside and lets talk about the spiders.... HUGE!  So pretty here, this is the best place on earth!
